Our ADMUC pressure sensitive adhesive is a unique rubber based butyl system. When combined with our Crushed EPDM foams, our products meet the stringent TSK-6505G 2A2 specification. Compared to conventional butyl adhesives, ADMUC is not-gummy and will not re-weld when kisscut. The scrim (mesh) carrier provides additional stability and elongation control, making ADMUC Butyl a much easier adhesive to work with.
The ADMUC bonds exceptionally well with low surface energy plastic, neoprene, and crushed EPDM. In addition, the butyl provides superior resistance to extreme temperature. It is ideal adhesive for joint sealing of building materials, automotive parts, and vibration control applications.
