See What Our Wurtland Facility Can Do for You – The Hub for Press-Ready Elastomeric Materials

Among all our locations across North America, our Wurtland, KY facility stands out as the most advanced and versatile operation dedicated to processing press-ready elastomeric materials. Whether you’re converting for automotive, HVAC, appliance, or general industrial markets, Wurtland is equipped to deliver precision, consistency, and speed.

Here’s what our Wurtland team can do for you:

• Vacuum Skiving & Leveling
Our vacuum skiving system uses air suction to hold the material flat before feeding it through an ultra-sharp knife blade. This process ensures tighter thickness tolerances and greater consistency in flatness.

• Looping for Continuous Rolls
Our vacuum skiving system uses air suction to hold the material flat before feeding it through an ultra-sharp knife blade. This process ensures tighter thickness tolerances and greater consistency in flatness.

• Looping for Continuous Rolls
With advanced F&K loop splitters, we can produce continuous rolls at custom thicknesses and lengths designed for your converting equipment and end-use specs. This process minimizes changeover downtime, reduces cost per foot, and increases throughput.

• Level-Wound Spooling
We can convert master rolls into tightly wound spools with specific profiles. By offering custom widths and extended lengths, this service enhances productivity for high-speed rotary and automated processes.

• Butt-Welding
Our team can join sheets together to create continuous rolls by butt welding the materials using either heat or glue.

• PSA Laminating
We are able to laminate PSA onto foam sheets and rolls or supply the adhesive on its own in specific widths and lengths to meet your needs.

• Slitting
Our roll slitting capabilities accommodate formats ranging from narrow 0.07″ rolls to wide 62″ rolls, with diameters up to 24”. We slit both adhesive and non-adhesive foams, including polyethylene, EPDM, Neoprene, and NBR.
