Scrim carrier provides stability for high speed converter of die cut gaskets
Our UC Butyl is a unique rubber-based butyl adhesive system, designed for high speed converter of die cut gaskets. When combined with our crushed EPDM foams, out materials comply with TSK-6505G 2A2. Our UC adhesive includes a scrim carrier, providing stability to your raw materials and finished parts, while inhibiting adhesive gum build up on the cutting tools. This unique adhesive does not re-weld, offering a clean cut, and removal of kiss cut part from the release liner. Our UC bonds exceptionally well to a variety of foams, including EPDM, polyolefin, neoprene, vinyl, and polyurethane, as well as common automotive substrates such as steel, ABS, PP, and TPO. In addition, the butyl provides superior resistance to extreme temperatures and has excellent low temperature flexibility and moisture resistance.
