We can all breathe a sigh of relief as we are reaching the end of what has been an incredibly tumultuous year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our vendors, employees, and especially our customers for your support and contributions in getting us to 2021.
Worldwide Foam was able to pivot quickly and remain open as an essential operation. Our company implemented a series of operational changes to work through this economic and health crisis:
- Scaling back operations in the early stage of the virus outbreak
- Pivoting to supply PPE to health workers to fight the pandemic
- Integrating our sister company, Aqua Lily Pad’s operation in Worldwide Foam facilities
- Navigating COVID infected employees, established a work-from-home policy, and limited corporate traveling
Additionally, we took this opportunity to adjust our business plans and operations to better prepare for future challenges and opportunities. The freight costs both domestically and internationally are expected to remain in tight capacity going into next year. Our team is diligently working to track and combat these costs wherever possible. In the meantime, we are wrapping up the new product developments to be introduced in early 2021.
