Description
IV3 is a black blended closed-cell material and is a SBE43/2B3 grade of foam, with a density range of 7 – 9.5 PCF / 112 – 152 kg/m³. This material has good UV resistance and a temperature range of -40 °F to 200 °F. This foam grade is used in a wide range of applications where heat resistance and FR requirements are heightened. IV3 meets the aerospace FAR 25.853 a/b FR specification when the material is a minimum of 0.250 thick. It has a Fluid Immersion rate of 100% max.
